How membership works
One payment, 12 months
This is not a subscription. You are charged once for 12 months of access. When your term ends, you decide whether the program is still working for you and buy it again if it is.
Members-only events
Community calls on the third Monday of the month and Office Hours on the first Monday, both at 9am Pacific. Member 1:1 match-ups happen on your own schedule, and book club discussions are hosted by volunteer members.
$200 course credit
Every purchase earns one $200 credit for any Product Talk Academy course. It is available immediately and must be used while your membership is active.
Extended curriculum access
If you have purchased and completed any Product Talk Academy course, membership keeps that course open to you, including every new lesson, case study, and resource we add.

A note from the author
Reading a book is rarely enough. Frequently asked questions
Is this a subscription?
No. When you purchase this program, you gain access to our community and all the associated benefits for 12 months. You are charged once. When your 12-month term ends, you have the option to buy the program again for another 12 months of access.
Why isn't it a subscription?
We all have too many subscriptions that we buy and forget about. We don't want to take money from people who are no longer getting value from our service simply because they forgot it was a subscription. We want you to decide every year whether this program is working for you and renew accordingly.
When are the members-only events?
We offer events at various times to accommodate members from all over the world. Community calls are on the third Monday of the month at 9am Pacific. Office Hours are on the first Monday of the month at 9am Pacific. Member 1:1 match-ups are scheduled between members according to their own schedules. Book club discussions are hosted by volunteer hosts, and the schedule is set by the members interested in the book.
Do you record the members-only events or Office Hours?
We do not. The members-only events are social events designed to help you connect with other community members, so they are not recorded. We don't record Office Hours so that members can share their real challenges in a safe space. We often turn common questions and challenges from Office Hours into content and course updates for all of our members.
What technology do you use?
The heart of our community is Slack. We use Zoom for our live calls. Extended curriculum access is delivered to alumni through the Product Talk Academy.
What if I don't use Slack?
Most of the community benefits are delivered through Slack. If you aren't interested in using Slack, this program might not be the right fit for you. If you are purchasing the program for extended curriculum access and don't want to use Slack, that's fine: you will still be able to access all of your course content in the Product Talk Academy, but you will miss the curriculum update announcements in the alumni course channels.
How does extended curriculum access work?
If you have previously purchased and completed any Product Talk Academy course, this membership gives you extended access to that course. We are constantly updating our courses with new content, case studies, and other resources, and extended curriculum access includes all of these updates. It does not give you access to a course you have not previously purchased.
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final. We are not able to offer refunds for this program. If you have any questions or doubts about whether this is the right program for you, email support@producttalk.org before you buy.
How does the $200 credit work?
Each purchase of this program earns one $200 credit that can be applied to any Product Talk Academy course, including Product Discovery Fundamentals and all of our on-demand courses. The credit cannot be applied to your next year of CDH Membership. It is available immediately after purchase and must be used while your membership is active.
