When are the community calls?
Our community calls are scheduled for the first Wednesday of the month at 4pm PT and the third Monday of the month at 9am PT. To convert these times to your own time zone, try World Time Buddy.
Do you record the community calls?
We do not. These calls are social events designed to help you connect with other community members and thus are not recorded.
Tell me more about the monthly challenges.
The monthly challenges are designed to help you adopt or invest in one of the continuous discovery habits outlined in the book. For example, we have challenges around conducting your first story-based interview, automating your recruiting process, defining a good outcome, and mapping the opportunity space.
How do you choose what books to read?
Teresa recommends some books, the community suggests and selects other books.
How do you help me apply what I’m reading?
Teresa designs exercises to help you apply the concepts from each book to your own work. This varies from book to book. But the discussion and exercises happen asynchronously in our Slack book club channel. So you can complete them at any time, regardless of where you live.
Are there any other benefits?
Yes! Many. This is a new program for us and we are always experimenting with how to add value to this program. Some of the current benefits include: Fireside chats where Teresa interviews members about how they are putting the habits into practice, exclusive discounts and perks for the community, a Worthy Reads library that includes some of the best content from around the web. Please note, these benefits are subject to change.
What technology do you use?
The heart of our community is based in Slack. We use Zoom for our live calls.
What if I don’t use Slack?
Most of the community benefits are delivered via Slack. If you aren’t interested in using Slack, this program is not a good fit for you.
What if I’m not sure this is the right program for me?
We offer a monthly subscription for only $19. Try it out. If it’s not for you, cancel anytime.
What if I’m unhappy with my membership?
You can cancel anytime. However, we do not offer pro-rated refunds. That means if you cancel mid-month or mid-year, you will not receive a refund for the remaining time on your subscription. Your subscription will continue until your term ends, regardless of when you cancel. Cancelations in our community are rare. Our members love us.
